On January 12, 2021, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province released the 2020 list of incubation carriers for Guangdong Province's science and technology enterprises, and Guangdong Medical Valley was awarded the 2020 Guangdong Province Science and Technology Business Incubator!

On January 10, 2021, the "Guangzhou Industrial Park Development Forum and Digital Economy Industry Development Summit" event was successfully held in Guangzhou. Leaders from the Guangzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, economists, industry experts, and industrial park leaders attended the event. Xie Jiasheng, CEO of GDMV, was invited to participate in the event. During the event, awards will be given to enterprises that have been awarded as "Guangzhou 2020 Demonstration Industrial Park", "2020 Up-and-coming Industrial Park", and "2020 Drunken Beauty Industrial Park". Recently, the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology released the planned list of national technology business incubators for 2020, and Guangdong Medical Valley is honored to be selected into the list of planned national technology business incubators! This award is of great significance to the development of Guangdong Medical Valley, and it is the full affirmation of the incubation, operation and service capabilities of GDMV by the government and the community.

On January 25, 2021, Guangzhou Nansha "Imagine the future and create a'new' development in the Bay Area-Nansha Key Industrial Projects Concentrated Signing Event" was successfully held. Guangdong ZDVC Medical Equipment and Biotechnology Industrial Phase II Park (GDMV Nansha Phase II Incubator) signing ceremony started, and Xie Jiasheng, CEO of Guangdong Medical Valley, attended the signing ceremony.

Shu Yuan, Chairman of ZDVC Group, and Hu Wenhao, Dean of the School of Pharmacy of Sun Yat-sen University, signed a contract on November 25, 2020 to establish the School of Pharmacy of Sun Yat-sen University-Guangdong Medical Valley Innovative Talent Award, Li Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy of Sun Yat-sen University, Zheng Guihui ，president of ZDVC Group and Xie Jiasheng, CEO of GDMV attended the signing ceremony.

On November 8, 2020, the entry ceremony of Nansha headquarters of MingMed, a star enterprise of GDMV, was successfully held in GDMV Nansha Incubator.
